Synopsis
Han is a sensitive and self-doubting teenager, his father, Feng, is an introvert and meticulous surgeon, and his mother, Shu-yi, is a capable and caring wife. His younger brother, Rui (7), is a warm-hearted little boy. In the eyes of outsiders, their family is a perfect family. But Han has always sensed that his mother wasn't truly happy. He believes that his perfect family is just a façade that his mother uphold through strong will.
After Han enrolled in the first-ranked high school, he became the topic of his parents to show-off. Therefore, he started to believe that his family is superficial and cares about the eyes of the outside world. He started skipping classes and avoiding being at home, eager to prove himself as an adult. At that moment, he became obsessed with a mysterious woman named Xue-jin.
As he started pursuing Xue-jin, he noticed a change in his mother. He could feel her inner excitement and happiness. Gradually, he discovered that the person who made his mother happy is Xue-jin. This secret between these two women is quietly affecting their family.
