Synopsis
A photographer takes a photo of a little girl on the nightly streets of Taipei. After this the memory of his own childhood starts to come back to him more and more and becomes intertwined with the identity of the girl, as looking at the picture he took, he starts to project his childhood onto hers. A meditative narrative in 3 parts; Taipei, on board an intercontinental flight and in Amsterdam.

David VERBEEK
Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, David VERBEEK studied in Directing at Amsterdam's Film Academy, during which he directed BEAT (2004), a feature film selected for the International Film Festival Rotterdam. After 2007, VERBEEK mostly worked in Taiwan and China, where he launched two feature films SHANGHAI TRANCE (2007) and R U THERE (2009) while the latter selected for Un Certain Regard in Cannes Film Festival. In 2015, FULL CONTACT was nominated for the Platform competition in Toronto International Film Festival and went on to major A-list festival competitions such as Tokyo, Rome and Chicago.
