Synopsis
The story centers on the complicated dynamics between three characters: Yen, a young man with cerebral palsy; Suriya, a Thai caregiver; and Yen's overprotective mother. Yen is infatuated with Suriya and longs for both a romantic and physical relationship with him. Simultaneously, Yen envies Suriya’s fit, functional body, wishing for a body like his. Suriya assists Yen with everyday tasks, such as bathing, while managing Yen's feelings toward him. Meanwhile, Yen’s mother harbors a protective affection toward Yen, but also has a subtle, ambiguous affection for Suriya, seeing him as both a son-like figure and a young man. As Yen grows increasingly uncomfortable with the physical closeness between his mother and Suriya, tension escalates. The story explores themes of desire, physical limitations, and emotional dependency, culminating in a surreal sequence where Yen imagines taking on Suriya’s body. However, he wakes up, only to confront the reality of his own condition.
