Synopsis
Hank, plagued by a nightmare of harming his family, lives a nomadic life. A chance encounter grants him a black box, exchanging his future. Trapped in a time loop, Hank uses the box to hoard stolen goods across repeated days. Meanwhile, his son, Zhi, seeks him. Unable to reunite, Hank's despair leads to suicide, which doesn't end the cycle. Years later, Hank's remains are discovered, head shrouded by the black box – now his skull. A haunting tale of temporal torment and an inescapable, macabre loop unfolds.

Charles C. Lee's evident passion for art and film led him to pursue his M.S. degree in multimedia and computer graphics from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge in the UK. His expertise enabled him to establish TWR Entertainment in 2010 aiming to incorporate advanced graphics technologies into media productions. With over 120 film and TV projects, Charles primarily focuses on production design, art design, and visual effects.
His exceptional work has been widely acclaimed by audiences and has earned him multiple nominations for Best Visual Effects at the Golden Horse Awards. In 2018, Charles founded "The Wonder Robot," a subsidiary of TWR Entertainment dedicated to creating original content. He directed a pilot for a fantasy series called "909" in 2022 and a fantasy thriller short film entitled "The Black Box" in 2023. His innovative storytelling and visual effects talent have made him a respected and creative professional in the industry.
