Clout-chasing YouTubers, Yong Cheng and Gao Wei, offend local street gangs in Japan while filming a provocative video. Their high school classmate Ozaki comes to the rescue and treats them a mysterious dish of meat. They were given a heightened sensory perception and no longer needed sleep nor cravings for food ever since, which boosting their career to the peak.

For generations, the Ozaki clan had been supplying Kappa meat for the chosen ones. The temporary enhancement you get after eating cooked Kappa meat makes it highly addictive, but side affects kick in after a while making you feel hollow and sluggish. If Kappa meat is eaten raw, the side affects are much more punishing, you would mutate into a Kappa. This is the reason why the Ozaki clan has endless supply of Kappa meat.

Addicted to Kappa meat, Gao Wei quits his job and joins Ozaki’s business, helping him search for potential Kappa candidates amoung homeless people. He even laid hands on his girlfriend and his best friend Yong Cheng. Yong Cheng’s ex-wife Yan Ting threatens Ozaki to turn Yong Cheng back to human, not knowing it was Ozaki’s trap, which was to turn Yan Ting  and their daughter into Kappa through feasting off of Yong Cheng’s flesh.
